Welcome Home to Houston

For 49 years, the Hoover family has found a way to come back together — to laugh, to remember, to sing, and to remind each other whose we are. This year, we're bringing all of that home to Texas.

Four days. One hotel. A whole family under one roof — genealogy workshops that trace where we come from, a picnic with barbecue and a mechanical bull, guided tours through Houston's Black history and the NASA Space Center, our signature Boots & Bling Dinner, and Sunday worship together as one family.

Four Days, One Family

Thursday, July 15 — Hotel check-in, a family scavenger hunt at The Galleria, and a Welcome Reception with Trivia & Bingo.

Friday, July 16 — Genealogy and educational workshops, then the Welcoming Picnic — BBQ, mechanical bull, and line dancing at the Taylor Events Center.

Saturday, July 17 — The family business meeting, your choice of the Black History & Cowboy Culture Heritage Tour or the NASA Space Center Tour, and our signature Boots & Bling Dinner.

Sunday, July 18 — Family worship at Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church before we say goodbye — or keep the celebration going with an optional post-reunion cruise from Galveston.
